Gulag. Traces and Testimonies, 1929-1956
This is the first exhibition in Germany to present numerous documents and relics of the gulag, including personal belongings of former prisoners. The exhibition reconstructs the history and experience of the gulag from the victims’ perspective.

Yvonne Rainer – Space, Body, Language
This exhibition project presents works by the San Franciscan artist Yvonne Rainer, one of the world’s leading choreographers, dancers and filmmakers. The exhibition will provide a complete overview of Rainer’s body of works with an accompanying programme of film retrospectives, performances and lectures.

Déjà-vu? The Art of Reproduction from Dürer to YouTube
This exhibition in Karlsruhe presents outstanding copies and reproductions of artwork from the late Middle Ages to contemporary times. It explores the modern-day cult surrounding authenticity and examines the aesthetic achievements and historic value of copies.

Yüksel Arslan – Exhibition tour
With shows in Zurich, Düsseldorf and Hamburg, this exhibition is the first to display the works of the Turkish-born artist Yüksel Arslan in Western Europe. Some 240 illustrations and paintings on paper, called "Artures", present an overview of Arslan’s artistic development throughout the years.

BILD Your Own Nation
Axel Springer was an outspoken proponent of the reconciliation between the Jews and Germans. The exhibition examines the German-Israeli relationship, portrayed from the perspective of BILD, Germany's largest tabloid.

Five world premieres commemorating the 800th anniversary of the St. Thomas Choir
The St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig will commemorate its 800th anniversary in 2012. The city of Leipzig commissioned five internationally renowned composers to produce new works which will premiere at St. Thomas’s throughout the commemorative year.

Living Archive at cinema Arsenal in Berlin
The Arsenal collection represents a half century of international film art. The project Living Archive has invited curators and artists to develop projects based on works stored at the association’s archive. Public viewing takes place once a month.
